We are a Medicaid Waiver and Consumer Directed Care Plus (CDC+) provider for the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) in Florida. Please note, this is different from Medicaid – we are NOT a Medicaid provider.
What Services are Provided under the Med Waiver Program?
Mobility Express can provide the following services under the Med Waiver program:
- Vehicle modifications including wheelchair lifts and ramps*
- Wheelchair assessments including complex rehab wheelchairs, through our RESNA certified ATP.
How Med Waiver Works:
Families who are enrolled in the program are assigned a Waiver Support Coordinator who helps coordinate care and services with various providers. When a Med Waiver client is in need of one of our products, the family or the WSC will contact us for a quote. APD requires 3 quotes from different Med Waiver approved providers. They will then select the most appropriate option.
